Katerina has been working at The British Standards Institution (BSI) since 2015, supporting key aspects of the manufacturing sector.
One of her main areas of interest is standardization of materials, including not only the key established areas of steel and polymers, but also innovative advanced materials, such as composites and graphene.
Katerina chaired the first joint UK-China working group meeting on graphene held at BSI in June 2017 and has since been working closely with her team in setting up the UK side of the graphene joint working group and identifying the barriers to graphene commercialisation.
