Kevin Lindsey has a 1st class BSc. (Hons) degree in Materials Science from Brunel University and a PhD in Composites Technology from the University of Nottingham.
After completing his doctorate, Kevin went into vehicle innovation, working at Land Rover, Aston Martin, Lotus Cars, and then Gibbs Aquada where he headed up the development of an innovative new, road registered passenger vehicle, taking it from concept to production.
More recently, Kevin was Technical Director of Northamptonshire based Axon Automotive Ltd., where he led the development of five lightweight composite chassis based concept electric cars and OEM technology demonstrators.
He is currently Managing Director of Far Composites, (part of Far UK Ltd.), located in Nottingham, which designs and develops lightweight automotive structural solutions in advanced materials.
